Purchasing Memberships

Memberships can be purchased conveniently through the or in-person and the Dedman ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s front desk.

• All memberships are prepaid payment at time of enrollment.
• Memberships are Non-Refundable and Non-Transferrable and only valid for the purchaser.
• Government issued photo ID required.

Guest Pass options can be found on the Miscellaneous Fees and Products page and only available for purchase through the Dedman ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s Online Member Portal.

Membership Rules and Protocols

The following General Dedman ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Rules and Protocols apply:

1. Individuals MUST be 18 years of age or older.
2. An ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ ID, Dedman Member Card, or government issued photo ID is required to enter the Dedman ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ.
3. For minor children under the age of 18 years, please visit the Family Recreation Hours page.
4. Failure to purchase a new membership within 1 month of expiration will require purchase of a replacement Dedman Member Card.
5. All Members and Guest are expected to follow and abide by the Dedman ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s Member Expectations and the Dedman ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s Rules and Protocols.

Membership Inclusions

Membership options have varying rates and durations depending on the individual’s role with the University or affiliation to the University.

• Access to use the facility and services such as Group X classes, Climbing Wall, Indoor Pool, OA Rental Shop and OA Trips, and Intramurals.
• Personal Training and some small group training classes will be additional fee.
• Dedman Member Card will only be issued to new memberships with a duration exceeding 3 months. Lost or damaged cards within 2 years of original issue must purchase a replacement.
• All ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ affiliated (Student, Employee, Sponsored and Retiree) must purchase parking from ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Parking and ID card office.
• Spouse-partner members may be eligible to purchase on-campus parking from the Dedman ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. Visit the Dedman ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Member On-Campus Parking page for more information.
• Membership options with automatic payroll deduction are for full-time, benefit eligible 10-month and 12-month ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ employees. First month’s prorated amount due at time of enrollment.
• Bundled Membership options include the main member and one (1) adult married spouse or domestic partner.

Membership Rates

Accepted Payment Types:

• Credit Cards (Discover, MasterCard, or VISA)
• No American Express

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Students enrolled in 1 or more credit-bearing class with payment of tuition will be assigned a Student Membership activated the first day of classes.

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Faculty/Staff who are enrolled in classes must still purchase a Faculty/Staff membership to access the Dedman ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ.

*Family membership options will be eligible for purchase when the main member adds the family member to their existing membership profile.

Recent ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Graduates

New: ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ graduates may now continue their enjoyment and use of the Dedman ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ and Campus Recreation services with the Recent Graduate membership. Determined by graduation date, the Recent Graduate Membership is available for a limited time after graduation. The membership rate is $50 for the time frame below, and the cost will be prorated based on the date of purchase until membership expiration date.

• December: Recent Graduate Membership Expires April 1of next year.
• May: Recent Graduate Membership Expires September 1
• August: Recent Graduate Membership Expires December 1

Purchase in-person or the Dedman ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s .

Student ID or government issued photo ID will gain entry with membership by manual check-in at the front desk.

New Member Cards and Dedman Member On-Campus Parking may be purchased from the front desk at an additional fee.

Upon expiration of the Recent Graduate Membership, graduates will be eligible for the discounted Alumni membership options.
