Parking

 

  • General Parking Instructions

    • On-campus parking for Dedman ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ members is limited to the Mustang Circle Parking ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ off Bush Avenue with an ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ-issued permit.
    • Parking is based on a calendar year (from date of purchase through December 31 of the same year) and DOES NOT align with membership enrollment dates.
    • The Dedman ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ and ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Campus Recreation are not responsible for:
      • Parking citations
      • Damage to vehicles
      • Loss of personal property

    Temporary Parking

    • Upon parking request approval, you will receive a temporary parking permit via email, allowing access to the Meadows Museum garage until issue of the virtual permit by the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Parking Office.
    • The Meadows Museum garage may be used temporarily if your Member Card is missing or inoperable. Note: Citations may be issued for prolonged or repeated parking in the Meadows Museum garage.

    Permit and Vehicle Information

    • A single permit is issued to the individual, which may cover two vehicles (a primary and secondary).
    • Citations will be issued if both registered vehicles are parked on campus at the same time.
    • Your ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ virtual permit from the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Parking Office will be sent via the email provided on your request, once verified and approved.
    • The permit is associated with your vehicle’s license plate number—not the Member Card. Member Card only opens gates; it does not validate parking.
      • Ensure the correct license plate number is properly entered on request.

    Managing Your Parking

    • The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Parking Permit email will include a link to the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Parking Portal, where you can:
      • Add or remove vehicles
      • Manage your account
      • Pay citations

    Important Notice

    • ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ students, employees, retirees, and ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ-sponsored members are not eligible for Dedman ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ member parking.
      • These individuals must obtain parking through the .

FAQ and Map

  • Dedman ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Member parking information will be provided via email by ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Parking and ID Services with the issue of the individual virtual permit.
  • On-Campus Parking Map: Dedman ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Members use Meadows (F) and Mustang Circle (A) Parking Garages.

Using Your Dedman Member Card

  • Tolltags are not activated for ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ parking and currently not available to Dedman Members.
  • Ensure card is not physically damaged or badly bent. If so, a replacement may be purchased.
  • Minimize interference by presenting the card only. Some credit cards, wallets or ID card holders will prevent the reader from recognizing the signal.
  • Present card properly by placing the card flat against the reader with picture facing you but directly on the reader for 2 seconds (see below)
