- May 6, 2025: Take a break from your day and join Dr. Krishna Marsh-Bell, and fellow students, faculty, and staff as we promote physical activity, mental wellbeing, and community connection. This event is part of our walking bus initiative-a fun, easy way to get moving together. The walking bus makes stops across campus, so you can meet us at any stop at the scheduled time to hop on and join the walk. Whether you're up for the full route or just a short stroll, you're welcome! No sign-up required-just show up and walk!

- February 25, 2025: Exercise is Medicine hosted a special presentation by Dr. Wendy Suzuki, a renowned neuroscientist, professor, and author known for her groundbreaking research on brain plasticity, learning, and the power of movement for cognitive health. Dr. Suzuki’s engaging talk explored how exercise and lifestyle choices can enhance brain function, boost mood, and improve overall well-being.

- October 12, 2024: Morning Yoga!
- October 16, 2024: ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ Counseling Services and EIM are co-hosted an important event – “A Whole Health Talk: Nutrition, Exercise and Disordered Eating”.
- October 20, 2024: APSM is hosted an Exercise is Medicine 5k.

April 12, 2024: APSM hosted activities for physical and mental wellbeing. Join us and participate with therapy dogs, inflatable obstacle courses and more!
April 12, 2024: APSM is hosted an Exercise is Medicine event with a special guest speaker and events to help mental wellbeing. Dr Carena Winters lectured at Harold Clark Simmons Hall. Dr. Winters visited from Jacksonville University and is currently the Director of EIM.
March 28, 2024: Exercise is Medicine, and the Applied Physiology Club teamed up with Volunteers of America to perform Fitness assessments and resistance training for residents of The Oaks in Dallas




Fall 2022: EIM visited classes to perform exercise snacks to encourage students to get up and move during their 1 hour and 20-minute course
