Windows Device Management (Microsoft Intune)

Microsoft Intune is a cloud device management platform used to securely manage, configure, and support University-managed devices. Enrollment into Intune is part of ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµâ€™s modern device management strategy, replacing reliance on traditional management tools while preserving productivity and security.

Enrollment in our Windows Device Management solution, Microsoft Intune, is required for University-managed Windows devices. Microsoft Intune integrates with cloud-centric identity and security tools, such as Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and supports ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ Inventory & Asset Management within a modern framework.

Microsoft Intune provides the following for ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ-Managed Windows Devices that will be introduced in phases:

  • Cloud-based configuration and compliance policies (e.g., security baselines, encryption, system settings)
  • Policy enforcement for security and conditional access
  • Integrated support for Windows-specific features and future Windows upgrades
