Biographical Note

Richard Immerman (Cornell BA, Class of 1971) is Marvin Wachman Director Emeritus of the ��«����Ƶ for the Study of Force and Diplomacy at Temple University, where he was also a Professor of History. Professor Immerman was the 40th president of the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations (SHAFR). He has received a number of awards from SHAFR, most recently the Norman and Laura Graebner Prize for Lifetime Achievement.
