Biography
Anne Hulme is a second-year student in the department’s Statistical Science Ph.D. program. Last summer, she interned at the Parkland ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ for Clinical Innovation, where she developed risk predictive models for healthcare applications. Her research was later presented at the Dallas Fort Worth Hospital Council’s Data Science Summit and received an honorable mention.
Her current research examines physiochemical patterns in wine and cheese pairings using traditional and nonparametric statistical methods. She is particularly motivated by research that translates statistical methodology into practical, human-centered insights that positively impact people’s everyday lives.
