An Iconic Venue for Your Next Event

Moody Coliseum and Miller Event ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ are located on the campus of ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ Methodist University. In the past half-century, the historic arena, home to the men's and women's basketball and women's volleyball teams at ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ, has hosted collegiate stars, tennis legends, American presidents, NBA MVPs and music icons.

Each May and December the Coliseum is transformed to host ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ Commencement as well as graduation ceremonies for thousands of area high school students. ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ Commencement speakers have included former First Lady and ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ graduate Laura Bush, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, journalists Jim Lehrer and Bill Moyers, and Oscar-winning actress and ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ graduate Kathy Bates. 

Four U.S. presidents have spoken at Moody Coliseum: Richard Nixon, Gerald R. Ford, George H.W. Bush, and George W. Bush. Poet T.S. Eliot also spoke to audiences there. Moody Coliseum also has been the venue for entertainers such as the Kingston Trio, the Rolling Stones, John Denver, Three Dog Night, Kesha, REO Speedwagon, The Eli Young band, the Grateful Dead, Queen, U2 and Pearl Jam.

Moody Coliseum and Miller Event ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ stand proudly as a preeminent collegiate sports arena and multi-purpose event facility, preserving its historical character while adding the most modern technological enhancements.
