NBC 5 / KXAS, The Dallas Morning News and ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ will present Decision 2018: Texas U.S. Senate Debate, Texas’ first U.S. Senatorial  debate between Republican U.S. Senator Ted Cruz and Democratic U.S. Representative Beto O’Rourke, broadcast live on NBC 5 / KXAS at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018 from the ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ campus.

This highly anticipated debate with statewide and national interest will be the first scheduled debate between the two candidates prior to Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, 2018. The moderators will be NBC 5 Political Reporter Julie Fine and The Dallas Morning News Political Writer Gromer Jeffers. The live broadcast will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. CT on Friday, September 21, 2018, with a re-air broadcast from  8 to 9 a.m. CT on Sunday, September 23, 2018.
