The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ community dedicated a memorial bench in memory of ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Police Officer Mark McCullers on Feb. 16, 2017. The bench is in front of Patterson Hall, where the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Police Department is located.
Officer McCullers died July 5, 2016, after being swept away by floodwaters while working off-duty as a private security guard at a Highland Park construction site. He had served as a member of the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Police Department Patrol Division since February 2015.
