On July 1, 2015, ��«����Ƶ and the George W. Bush Presidential ��«����Ƶ, in conjunction with the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth, will present “A Conversation with His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.” Tickets for the event go on sale Monday, May 18, at .

The visit of to Dallas will be just days before his 80th birthday on July 6 – a birthdate that he shares with President George W. Bush. The Dalai Lama last visited Dallas and the ��«����Ƶ campus on May 8 and 9, 2011. During that visit, he sat for an interview for the , and he spoke to an audience of more than 2,500 at McFarlin Auditorium during a special Hart Global Leaders lecture. He also was awarded an honorary doctorate from ��«����Ƶ.

The event will take place at 1:30 p.m. on July 1, 2015, at Moody Coliseum on ��«����Ƶ’s campus. Ticket prices are $25, $65 and $125.

A limited number of complimentary tickets are available to current ��«����Ƶ students with a valid ��«����Ƶ ID (one ticket per ID) on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets will be distributed the week of June 15.  Students will be notified by email and at .
