Students and faculty are sharing news of their research, travels and internships around the world this summer on the blog.

This summer’s Adventurers include:

Ìý , including students and scholars from ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ, who will excavate the Etruscan sanctuary and settlement of Poggio Colla in Tuscany.
Ìý , a junior biology major, who is participating in her second summer internship with the Joint Admission Medical Program at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
Ìý , a junior music, anthropology and history major, who is participating in ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ-in-Germany and the Global Leadership Program in Prague and Berlin.
Ìý , a sophomore Spanish and theater studies major, who is studying at ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ-in-Taos before visiting the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Ìý , a senior finance and biology major, who has an internship with the Parkland Collegiate Fellows Program at Dallas’ Parkland Hospital.
Nicola in Taos , a senior majoring in political science, is spending the summer studying archaeology at ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ-in-Taos.
Ìý , a sophomore advertising and sociology major, who received a Maguire and Irby Family Public Service Internship to work in Atlanta with the American Civil Liberties Union.
Ìý , a senior religious studies and psychology major, who has been awarded a Richter Research Fellowship to examine newly emerging churches in the United Kingdom.
Rachel in Taos

, a junior majoring in journalism, is spending the June 2009 term in ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ-in-Taos and then she's off to ºù«ÍÞÊÓÆµ-in-London, where she’ll study journalism from the British point of view, as well as the history of postwar European cinema.

Ìý , a triple major in art history, Spanish and French, who received a Richter Research Fellowship to study the relationship between nationalized Catholicism, the Franco regime and parish church architecture in the Catalunya region of northeastern Spain.
are traveling to Romania to report on the status of orphanages 20 years after the fall of communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu.
